Some interesting comments in here from Castagne:


Suggests his goal and general forward play at the weekend was because Rodgers gave Justin instructions to stay back so that he could get forward more - I'm not sure how that will work when Ricardo P is back in the team.

Also there's a comment about being setup this way so that he could get forwards "even in a 4 man defence"... Does that mean when Ricardo is back it will be 5 at the back so they can both get forwards?

My magic bones are suggesting he'll play LB when Ricardo comes back. Justin clearly isn't quite good enough to be first choice there.

I think it’s going to be two things based on opposition:

back five with him as the left wing back and Ricardo on the right.

back four with him at right back and Ricardo in front of him (the Perez/Albrighton/Gray role).
