By that I assume he doesnt know basic french and/or he was commentating on the feed pictures, not at the ground.
Not sure what French has got to do with it, when the pronunciation is an anglicised one. It was the club's official commentator, alongside Gerry Taggart, at the training ground. Surely anyone who works for the club should know the name of the training ground?

I was talking about the ore season games when we had Callum Elder playing he couldn't pronounce his name properly
In one of the friendlies he called him Eldair. He got it right eventually.
