Jesus Christ looked a good prospect but went off the radar slightly, not sure what he's up to these days.

God knows what that lad could have done if he was given a fair crack, wasn't popular with everyone but he had his moments.

I think you will find that Jesus got all the plaudits while his brother James was clearly the better prospect.

Norman Leet couldn't be faulted for effort....and was extremely popular because of his commitment.

I liked Norman - as you say he always gave 100%. I recall him scoring a terrific goal at Barnsley on a Tuesday (?) night. Sticks in my mind as it was the day HMS Sheffield was blown apart in the Falklands. Also some canny lasses gave us some cakes they'd cooked at school on the bus from Donny to Barnsley.

Sam McMahon. Seem to remember he got youth player of the year above Heskey - plays for Stamford now.

Oh, and also Tommy Wright. Word has it that he's just been released from Aberdeen.

reneil sappleton, old lady o'grady, craig king,

everyone except andy king has basically failed thus far to make it through to regular first team football - all our regulars are signed.

interesting how we have an almost peerless youth set up and yet virtually none of them make it in to the first team.

puzzling and frustrating to say the least.

maybe they're all good technically and then cren't perceived fit to be able to cut it in the championship physically....
