This quote being reported widely now as a strong indication he's staying. Being a glass half empty type person I think it's intended to make Vards choke on his Corn flakes and red bull in order to persuade him to phone AFC to tell them it's still on!

Yeah loads of knobs are sharing it on the book of faces too.

Got me for a while but thought it strange to announce it whilst he's at the Euros.
