Please let that be true!

I am becoming more convinced he's staying. But hope is a dangerous thing isn't it...

The thing that concerns me slightly is that Arsenal haven't abandoned the deal. It doesn't make them look good if Vardy strings it out for a few weeks and then stays, plus they could miss out on other targets (although I guess no reason they can't go after them at the same time and then pull out of the Vardy deal).

My worry is that they're still in because they still think they've got a good chance of signing him

They will stay in as it keeps the release clause active, I'm sure they will be looking at other targets.

You'd think the media would have learned their lesson after last season. Still goes to show there's plenty more reason to stay and prove people wrong. Who's to say with this team we can't gazump Arsenal and take their precious 4th place every year for ourselves, and more besides.

We have the potential to be a massive club, only leeds have a single club with a bigger population.
birmingham,bristol and sheffield have multi clubs which under perform. liverpool and manchester both have 2 big teams with a population only marginaly bigger than leicester. london, with its massive population will unfortunaely always be able to maintain 3 or 4 top teams. All the other premier league clubs have significanly less population to support them. With owners prepared to invest in extending the stadium, plan for the future, (management and team) and keep our best players in the meantime.
Vardy would be the key to a bright and sustainable future. I'm not sure any of the Arsenal team would improve what we have,
perhaps an audatious bid for edin hazard would make our intentions clear|

If he does go to Arsenal after all this, he has created a lot of unnecessary trouble for himself. Many Arsenal fans were skeptical even from the start, they will give him even less time now when he's clearly not convinced himself it's the right move

No. No new news. Savage is still a wanker:
And his mastery of the English language is first class;

Vardy's goals fired Leicester to the title last term but he should remember loyalty counts for nothing in football no more as Arsenal await his decision

And the Beeb expects him to learn French!

If he goes and scores goals they will love him. Football fans; we're all fickle.
