He's not a right back.
Could we tempt Alan Maybury back? And maybe Alan Rogers for the left back slot?

We've got other areas that we could spend that kind of money on first. Right back especially. A centre back too if Tunchev goes without another pre-season.
When Waggy goes we'll still Have Fryatt, Kermit, Gallagher, Howard, N'Guessan.... and DJ. The first three of which are all easily good enough (as strikers) for this division.
I don't see why people expect us to sign him if Sunderland go down. Waggy has proved that he is capable in this division so Bruce may see him as a viable replacement for the potential loss of another striker(s). ie he'd lose bent for £Xmillion but has Waggy in reserve for nowt.
Does he know how to connect his laptop to his telly?
Daily Star: Martyn Waghorn has told Sunderland to keep him or else let him make his loan spell at Leicester permanent.
It's been reported on a Sunderland site that he's buying a house in the Sunderland area. Presumably he wouldn't do that unless he knows his future is there.
Can you explain to me why the hell that would make any difference? He's a lifelong Sunderland fan, I can't see him requesting a transfer tbh.

Peter Shilton was a lifelong city fan but he still requested a transfer and ****ed off to Stoke.

Only way we'd be able to afford sign him permanently is if we got promoted or sell fryatt or king for a decent sum.
