I think Ian Holloway is a natural choice as Bolton's next manager.

Megson sold Anelka for £15m and then purchased a defender and a midfielder and no real striker so dont tell me we would be better off if Megson had a transfer window to work in.

There is still no true answer as to why Martin Allen left and personally I think if MM didn't interfere MA could have proved to be a good manager for us.

I know some of you will argue the fact that he was unpopular with the office staff, but at the end of the day it is the players that win and lose matches and make a club successful or unsuccesful. I believe to this day that MA got respect from most of the squad and under him the best players we have would have won us more games over the course of the season than we currently have.
I am not saying we would have necessarily been in the play off spots but somewhere between 6th and 10th.

And when relegation is pressing, short term mistakes are enough to be the final nail in the coffin.

I was at the Lincoln-MK Dons game last friday and heard that MA wanted John Schofield (lincoln manager) to come as assistant manager (he turned it down), and he got £1.7 mill pay off by MM.

I'm sure you are right, I think there is also an underlying problem with team spirit and commitment. It may be that this team don't wear their heart on their sleeve which is odd when you look at the manager's style. I just don't see any real desire to be in this team on our pitch and wearing the blue shirt. One or two exceptions in individuals but I just can't see a collective enthusiasm and will to win. I still think we have survival within us, we can get points from all the games left if we really want them. Its just not going to be easy and we will need to work harder than we have been doing to get what we want.

Because he made a decision based on only his opinion. Allen didn't like the way Mandaric went his way full stop IMO. I am sure many other managers won't agree with shelf-stacking players such as Hellings and signing duffs like N'Gotty before he'd even joined.
