Speculation Wellens to Leeds

Most assumptions on this thread are that we are trying to offload - could it be another Abe situation (only more localised), where he is tiring of travel from/to home & wants a club closer to home and Leeds fit the bill

Wouldn't you if your manager brought in about a million players who could play in your position? I'd assume he'd be happier now that Pearson's back and a load of his rivals for centre mid have been moved on.

I was only told about this a few weeks ago, made sense of the fact that Wellens has been fairly useless all season. Looks like he thought he'd not be able to compete with the new influx and didn't want to fight for his place, great attitude.

I know it's not the most popular thing to say on here, but I for one would miss him if he went.

Same here.

Wellens is a one of the most technically gifted players we have, it's just unfortunate he's coming into the 'twilight' of his career as they say.
