we are defo going in the right direction. we could have won that game and the nice thing was we are creating.well done boys :038:

Very happy with a draw vs WBA, top of the table says it all.
We are 6th in form table. 3 wins & 2 draws.

a draw with the league leaders can't be bad.

5 Shots On Target 13

8 Shots Off Target 3

26 Fouls (Conceded) 11

8 Corners 4

0 Yellow Cards 1

0 Red Cards 0

Looking at the match stats, they seemed to have the better of it actually! 13 shots on target, looks like we've got to thank Henderson a lot for that point! Sporting Life website says Kisnorbo man of the match.

Sportinglife also said we battered them in the second-half and deserved to win.. not bad at all against the league leaders. Says it all that there's an element of disappointment with a draw against the league leaders.

Great point :038:

Apart from the RB, the 3 defenders were superb today. Don't get the hype over Jarrett though, I thought he was shite today, but Gibson reckoned he was OK so I'm probably wrong again.

Johnson was the outstanding midfielder and Horse was outstanding upfront.

IMO, if the rest of the team can play to the same standard as Kis, Nis, McA, AJ and Horse, we'll do very very well.

Great result

From where I was sitting, it looked like Newts taking penalties at half time

Good match. For a while in the first half they looked like they were going to murder us but Johnson in particular disrupted their game and by the end, I thought we were unlucky not to have won it.

Bloody good game that. Very enjoyable viewing.

Handed them a lead (Maybury - you arse) and then looked like we could get battered but we fought back and deserved at least a point at the end.

Johnson, Kisnorbo, Henderson, Hughes & Horsefield all played well in my view.

WBA will finish in top two I reckon.

Just got back. Great team effort. Jarret was great as the overlapping attacker. AJ was immense in the middle. Kisnorbo and McAuley outstanding at the back. The only weak link was Hughes who decided to be 'Tiatto' for the day and refused to stay on the wing!
Either side could have nicked it but we were great in the second half, not giving them any time on the ball.

It was an outstanding performance (maybury aside) against the best team we have played this season

Johnson was simply magnificent, ably supported by jarrett, and Kisnorbo is too good for this league - if we hang onto him in the summer we will have done well

Excellent stuff

I think Henderson was great again.

He has come in for a lot of abuse at times but I think he has really settled now and is a quality keeper.
His kicking has improved 100% and his overall command of the area is now very good. He came out and won everything today, even if it was only a punch he made sure he punched it well clear.
And his shot stopping has never been in doubt in my opinion.

I think Henderson is coming on to be a top quality keeper.

With the 3 at the back, Johnson and the horse we have a force to be reckoned with next season. 5 or 6 new players to complement those named above and we should piss this league

It's funny how everyone is suddenly all over AJ as the focal point of our team and how next year he's going to be vital and the midfield should be built around him almost, when a few games ago everyone hated him and wanted shot as soon as possible.

Fickle boneheads ;)

What's the reason for his recent found form though? Is it just because of the Horse? Is he playing for a new contract now MM is here?

It sounds like he's been key to our recent run though, so hopefully he can keep it going whatever the reason for it is, and will help us drive forward at least for the rest of this season if not next.
