Shinji being pushed down the pecking order is probably the thing I’m most concerned with.

Had been scoring a few goals and Vardy desperately needs him to be as effective.

Nah, I’m not pleased.

The odd thing is that I don't think any of the defenders were too bad tonight. Fuchs had his usual wobbles but he wasn't woeful. The whole midfield and Mahrez were so inept it's laughable. Vardy was just never going to be able to make any impact because of that.

I've just typed out a couple of paragraphs about how I'm not going to jump to conclusions about Puel..... and then deleted them because I know we're not going to see any meaningful changes in the lineup or formation any time soon.

The players don't even look that arsed. Maguire and Fuchs seem to do nothing but squabble, Mahrez had a strop, Vardy is on autopilot.

We are so soft, soft and naive.

Absolute bollocks in the 2nd half.

Period of transition and luckily we've chosen the right season.

Second half was everything i thought Puel would be

A complete shitfest

Just wait until February when we're all pleading for him to be sacked and in desperation we call for Pulis to come in to replace him. It's going to get a lot worse before it gets better.

Said worst footballer not worst player. He was our best defender today by a mile. If you’re happy with Simpson being our chief playmaker fill yer boots.
He isn't our worst footballer. I also didn't say he was our playmaker. What an odd leap. Instead of bickering let's carry on agreeing that Puel needs to change and change fast so we don't have to watch that kind of shite ever again. ;)

It wasn't great IMO, at least not in an attacking sense. We created very little, practically nothing in the second half to cheer about. West Ham were crap, they are relying solely on their threat from set pieces, we're not great at defending them either but we just about coped. Though their equaliser was inevitable given the pressure they were cranking up with them. Given how little impact we had on the second half I'm surprised they didn't go on to pinch it...

At the end of the day an away point is always welcome, but given that it was a.) at West Ham, b.) we've got Spurs next and c) The performance was largely dull... I'm very disappointed.

The larger point is when the ball is constantly at your full backs feet it’s a sign you’ve been outcoached.

Pulls would have us playing more attractive football. That's how bad it was.

Play like that Spuds will rip our heads off and shit down the hole

January will be interesting. If performances like this continue there will be very few players wanting to play in such a poorly organised team and I think we still need to invest. Silva better be a footballing God or we are going to be cheering on anyone playing against Swansea, Palace, West Ham and Everton this season.

Mahrez came off because he was very poor second half. West Ham raised their game and never looked close second half, there’s a way to go, but my God some of you need a reality check, that wasn’t that bad you pricks.

Hehehehe......? I'm assuming this is a joke, yes?

I didn't post anything during the gane as I genuinely couldn't think of anything to say. So I'll just say this now.

WHAT THE ****??!!

I mean seriously. The Hammers are a truly dire pile of wank with no confidence & no plan. Going there this season is about as near to a gimme as a PL away game ever gets. & we were 1 up in the 1st ten minutes. That should be game over & lets just improve our goal difference.

Instead we get...that (whatever the **** it was)

If that kind of shite was what Puel served up at Saints then I now understand why he got the push. Until now I thought he was harshly treated there but I think I may be coming around. The ineptitude tonight was astounding. It was as if he'd never seen a football match before.

Southampton over the years seem to have been pretty clued up with regard to their management choices (both recruitment & sackings) Maybe getting rid of Puel was just another example of it.

I'm beginning to think he may be the sort who congratulated his players last week for only losing 2-0. I'd rather get thumped trying to get something out of a game than accept a 'respectable' defeat.

It was no better at Stoke either. On the face of it a point there seems OK. But Stoke are actually pretty shite this year & we really should have won.

Sorry. But if he's come here thinking it's OK to finish 16th playing like that he can **** off now.

It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't feel so compelled to stay up and watch Steve Smith tear our bowlers a new one later. ****ing sport. I hate it.
