Today's SOPOSA (Some Obscure Punk On Sunday Afternoon)

The Shapes. I still have the EP - with the insert card - in the loft.

Do you remember when there was fun in music?

There are a few things that put a big smile on my face.
Leicester City doing weird brilliance in the league is one.

This is another.

Why oh why can't music be fun/exciting/lively/crazy nowadays? (perhaps if it was, Leicester would be managed by Gordon Milne)

OGWT a hundred times better than that Jools Holland thing. Yes, I'm old. Go away. Stop shouting. Show some respect.
Kids of today.....

Difference is that Jools is the only music show left on terrestrial telly, and so has to cover the bases. It's the channel commissioners who should be put to task about this.

I remember 'L' coming out and tracks being played on the radio and thinking it a bit weird. Always loved "The Sporting Life".

154? even more difficult.

Nostalgic these days. Must be the lack of league games this weekend.

Wow Mr Blaarev - This Heat.

Not heard of/thought of them for a very long time. I have as much difficulty with them now as I did then - Thanks for putting them on here.

Anyhow, if anyone can deal with them they could deal with (also from 1979 (THE most worthy year in music history)) this....
The first live gig I ever went to was this 'piece' but when they did it at Erics Liverpool Feb '79.
