I actually miss posts like this, these days. Come back with your lists Spion, all is forgiven. Well, not all, maybe some......come to think of it I'm not so sure anything is forgiven.
Cock Sparrer...& Erasure. Well, eclectic doesn't even begin to cover that. Personally I'd die happy if that was ever a double bill at any venue. Interesting mingling of audiences to say the least.

Be careful what you wish for.......

James - Walk Like You
Keane - Somewhere Only We Know
Paloma Faith - Do You Want the Truth or Something Beautiful?
Elvis Presley - How Great Thou Art
Eskimo Joe - Black Finger Nails, Red Wine
Andrea Bocelli & Sarah Brightman - Time To Say Goodbye (Con Te Partiro)
Barry Ryan - Eloise
Electric Light Orchestra - Poor Boy (The Greenwood)
Kevin Rowland - Rag Doll
Harry Secombe - This Is My Song

In mitigation, some of those were whilst I fell asleep on the beach!

I particularly like one of those songs, for a variety of reasons.

I love Andrea Bocelli Time to Say Goodbye, but it needs to be his vocal IMO.

Paloma Faith - "Beauty Remains" for me.

The rest - Interesting!

First, second and last I'm a fan of soul music, but I like anything that moves me and these all, for one reason or another, move me:

Peter, Paul & Mary - Leaving on a jet plane
Tom Waits - Martha
Pavarotti - Nessun Dorma (obvious)
Aretha Franklin - Angel
The Marmalade - Reflections of my life
Nina Simone - Just like a woman
Marianne Faithful - As tears go by
Tom Waits - Kentucky Avenue
Peter Sarstedt - Where do you go to my lovely
Dusty Springfield - I don't want to hear it anymore

Please bear in mind 1) I'm an old bastard and 2) I'm the wrong side of two bottles of a good red and full of nostalgia.

Sorry, I have to add to that:

Al Green - Hangin' on and
Brenda and the Tabulations - One Girl too Late
These are for my wife from our courting days.

Singalong music:

Classic case of falling between 2 stools. Too Mod for a Punk audience, too much Punk edge to be completely a Mod band. Toured with The Jam & The Purple Hearts...& also The Lurkers & The Undertones. Having an open mind as a youth meant I appreciated them for what they were but for the majority, late 70s/early 80s music scenes were too tribal to allow for crossover. A shame really. Should've been much bigger than they were.

Sound of the suburbs The Members
Hong Kong Gardens Siouxsie
Simon Templer Splodgenessabounds
England 2 Columbia 0 Kirsty McColl
Jack and Diane John Mellencamp
Lyin Eyes The Eagles
Submission The Sex Pistols
Something Better Change The Stranglers
Shes a Rainbow Rolling Stones
Lola The Kinks

Lazzer's list reminded me of this - even a JS intro!

Jetrho Tull morning for me

Stranglers afternoon

Easy to forget just how good they were. Poetry, driving base, cutting edge.
