WTF?? Everyone knows TOTBL is the better album and has recieved the most acclaim. For a start acclaimedmusic.com which takeds eevry critics list they can find and make one huge list:

TOTBL has been far more recieved than Antics and i can't believe your even challenging that!

All the links you have picked are american or Polish. Antics sold more and got them more attention than TOTBL did.

The states provided there tell all. Considering for a band like Interpol to get anywhere near the Top 20 selling albums in Uk is quite some feat.

Both excellent albums in their own rights, I just wonder Mikey what interested you more about TOTBL.

Yeah Antics sold more, because no one had heard of Interpol in 2002. But TOTBL has become more acclaimed, that acclaimedmusic link takes lists from all corners of the globe and if you see a list that hasn't been included then you send it in. It's a good 300 places above Antics in the all-time list

And i prefered TOTBL, because it's a much better album, it has more energy, i can't really explain why i prefer one over the other i just do

Exacly, but you don't want to hlisten to a word that bloody magazine ever says, they're so upthemselves it's untrue, and they hype everything to death. I can find music i like myself without liking it because it's cool to listen too. IO'm 16 and i hate The Arctic Monkeys, The Libertienes, The Kooks, raorlight etc. If i wanted to try try and be cool and fit in i'd like them, but music has got nothing to do with that, and i just don't like those bands

I know that pal, for them its all about numbers. NME used to mean something before it became the next edition of Heat magazine. I would like nothing more than create a new music magazine.

I have used rateyourmusic.com for a while, the server always seems down on there. I am on there as Hazzman. I used mySpace (despite it being full of twats and Murdoch's empire) to hear stuff from new bands.

My name is Mikey2000 on rateyourmusic, i use he messageboards on that alot, the people on their seem to be the biggest msic fanatics in the world all trying to find new and intresting stuff. I feel miniscule to most of the people on their, the server's down alot at the moment beacuse they've just changed the site completly and now it's better than ever. i've never used myspace, like you say seems to be full of people who read NME & Kerrang

I never use it to interact with anyone, just simply to listen to music, that's its best thing. I use Drowned in Sound boards, its an indie music site, type in Google and get the podcast off the main page, its in the top right corner.
