Yes. I remember seeing the Faces in 1971, absolutely fantastic gig. I should have carried on listening to Ronnie Lane after Rod Stewart went crap. Sort of heard his stuff but didn't really pay attention, realised tonight what I missed out on.

I think some people just think it's cool to slag him off for being an ageing musician. Or maybe it's just because he's a musician and that's no longer the "in thing"
