I clapped him and was glad he went off because he was running the midfield, just like he did when we played the Trees last time!
Maybe, with Weso out, there is still a need for someone like him.....
Just a thought.

So there is a possibility that he could return, as is being rumoured on another forum ....

noever understood the restitance to him returning
too old,too fat, too slow.
He would not mix it with the pace of the championship.
NO... THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO FCUKING POSSIBILITY OF THAT HAS BEEN RETURNING....
Jesus Christ.... People amaze me sometimes. Foxestalk is a fcuking joke. How about we bring back Muzzy and Claridge too....
He managed to outclass our youger, sliimer, faster midfield
Source? :icon_wink
so will most of the teams in this league.
Not true, Clem is a top midfielder in this division.
That doesn't mean we wont lose the battle in midfield.
I really do not understand why people think signing Lenny would be such a bad move, granted he is not as mobile but if he was then he would still be in the prem, last season he was playing champions league FFS.
What he has lost in mobility he will more than make up for in his experience and reading of the game, football is not about being able to run around like a fecking headless chicken, speed of thought will always be of more benefit. Look at the rave reviews Sheringham is recieving at Colchester.
Some of our fans need a massive reality check as to where we are, Lennon would be a class above and alongside Clem it would be one of the strongest midfield partnerships in the division.
I think we should have gone in for Kavanagh
Maybe we did, Alex.....
Just a thought.
