Boss D-day looms for Mandaric
Leicester chairman Milan Mandaric is aiming to appoint the club's new manager before the end of the month
The Foxes are managerless after sacking Rob Kelly in April and installing former Norwich boss Nigel Worthington on a temporary basis until the end of the season.
According to Mandaric there has been no shortage of interest in the job. He revealed last week that Neil Warnock had joined Worthington on his shortlist to succeed Kelly at the Walkers Stadium following his departure from Sheffield United.
"I have been talking to a lot of people. There are a lot of people who have applied to be manager of Leicester City," Mandaric told the Leicester Mercury. "I am narrowing that to a very short list now. My objective is to bring a manager to the club no later than the end of the month.
"The process began two or three weeks before the season finished but there is no written guarantee. I have to bring in someone who has the same passion as me, someone who wants to work together and be positive about our club.
"I am looking at people and their personalities, their experience, their drive and desire to be manager and projecting it to see who can be the best for the job."
SSN reprts 4 on the short list..MM says it includes Warnock not Coleman

No coleman means Warnock will get the job unless a turn of events and stu peace comes in which would be great for this club
Wow - no Coleman then?
So...... Conjecture-time. Who's on the list? Warnoutcock + 3 others...
I reckon:
Warncock
Ince
Dowie
Newell
because he is a decent manager who had limited funds at man city and he did pretty good with them, only problem was scoring goals,Excuse me for being ignorant, but why?

The very fact he names Warnock but none of the others suggests to me that the other 3 on the list are employed.
My shortlist :
Warnock
Dowie
Davies
Allen

It will be Warnock once the dust settles (ie Robsons appointment tomorrow) therefore we wont be accused of poaching him, I assume Coleman must have rejected us , the other 3 being NW Ince and Dowie
We wont be accused of poaching him anyway. Neil Warnock resigned of his own accord :icon_roll
