Ryan ****ing Bertrand has taken the right pi$$ out of us

The more i look at it the more im in disbelief thst this happened.
The company First Access Sports employed Bertrand and BRs son Anton as consultants.
Bertrand was offered to Leicester on £80000 a week ( double his Soton wage) 2 years later he walks away after contributing jack shit to LCFC and we paid him 8 million for the privilege.

This company, partly owned by a man named Nathan Bertrand, which coincidentally is Ryan’s brother’s name? Aye, nowt dodgy about that one at all.

Rodgers really lined his pockets didn’t he. Bent and shit at his job.

The thing that infuriated me most was that Rodgers refused to talk about Bertrand for the best part of a year when asked about his injury status. He also changed the reason for his absence on several occasions.

Whole thing stank.

Like BR then?

Shouldn’t have been allowed to happen. Too many people lining their own pockets and looking after their own interests. The club is due a good shake up at management level. Top needs to be hearing fresh ideas.

Top couldn't find his arse with both hands.

We have to be one of the first choice loan options for the bigger premier league clubs. Over the past Championship stint we utilised loans well to fill the gaps. I imagine we will be doing something similar.

With that in mind, I wouldn’t renew Evans, as Souttar and Faes should be good enough to dominate in this league. A couple of loanees and Vestergaard will be plenty of cover for our ‘bounce back’ season.

I can’t see us signing many players permanently. Or selling many on more than a year contract.

Two year contract at £80k a week = £8.3m basic salary. He was on £44k a week at Southampton. This deal absolutely and positively didn't have anything to do with him running an agency with Rodgers' son.

He started 9 games with 2 more as sub. Only 4 PL appearances (we didn't win any of them) and his last game was Dec 2021 at Liverpool in the LC when he came off the bench after an hour when we were leading 3-1. Fittingly, his final contribution was missing the penalty that gave Liverpool (kids) the win.

He's got a winners medal from the Community Shield though so he'll go down as a legend I expect.

Wow, that's a bad indictment of Rodgers. How do you find out about all this stuff, @Brown Nose?

Nope. Just a bit depressed that no heads are seemingly going to roll & everything seems set to just carry on as before.
The problem we face is that those people deciding whose heads to roll are the very people whose heads should be rolling. The turkeys ain’t gonna vote for Christmas
