Great work in getting those pictures from the internet Dessie. Glad that you're back, as it were.

Thanks everyone. I did get them all from the internet, all on the same Arizona-based birding website, in fact. I'm just an online whore!

Just got this shot of what we in the business call a superspecialty (sorry about the technical jargon): a Long-Legged Rabbit. I know I'm truly blessed to have this sort of wildlife virtually on my doorstep. When I show this to my clients they either start to stroke themselves very gently or masturbate furiously, depending on the mood in the group.

Here are some I did get from the internet, from some remote cameras on a ranch in Mexico, just south of the border (maybe 20 miles from my house). We've had a few records of two exciting cat species this side of the border recently, so we know they're making a comeback from decades of persecution. The first one is an Ocelot, one of the cutest cats around.

But not as cute as a baby Ocelot!

More exciting, a big male Jaguar! There's also one in the Santa Rita Mountains, a little north of my house, which has been there for two years. I take people birding there often, but nobody has ever seen it in the flesh, just on remote camera photos.

This is the photo that really got me thinking. You're not supposed to see Jaguars wandering around in the daytime. This habitat is only 20 miles from my house, and it looks just like the bit at the bottom of my garden. Eek! Some people get a bit squiffy when they see snake or spider photos - this is the one that shits me up completely. Holy ****!

If I saw the last one with my clients, I'd certainly be beating off - beating a hasty path off the property, that is.

That book has opened up for me an infinite path to irrational abstract beauty, entangled in ephemeral sensations which alleviates perceptual reality and promotes universal potentiality interdependent on boundless fulfilment herpidty derpity

That's easy for you to say. I need a pint of heavy after reading that.:icon_wink
