Iran 1-1 Angola


Hashemian thought his early goal had gave Brauny Blue's Iran side their first win but it was not to be.
Mantorras equalised to score Angolas first goal of the tournament and their first point.Jessel still finishes bottom of the group though.


Portugal 1-0 Mexico


Pauleta converted a second half penalty to claim maximum points in the group for Lboro Fox and Portugal. Old Gits Mexico side played well and should be confident ahead of the next round.

Goals But Unexpected Ones



Czech Republic 1-0 Italy


Baros scored the first goal of Group E and eliminated Italy in the process. A poor game only brightened by a powerful shot from Baros on 32 minutes.
Czech Republic go on to the next round but Nathan's team must play better.Blaby Blue Blood and Italy head home, again failing to sparkle on the big stage.


Ghana 2-0 U.S.A.


The favourites to be knocked out ended the group stage in top spot on goal difference. An impressive double from Boakye took Musswell Fox's side to the next round and Fosseboy83 will be left kicking himself that his side has not had a bigger impact.

Group F Results



Brazil Beaten, Croatia Steal 1st Place



Japan 1-0 Brazil


Mk Fox Brazil side approached this game knowing they had already qualified for the next stage. But maybe they were a bit too confident as Japan always looked more comfortable knowing they had little to play for.
Fox From The Hudd will be pleased to take this massive scalp thanks to a good close range finish from Takahara.


Croatia 2-1 Australia

This was a crucial match between LS6 Fox and Joe_Fox with the winner taking all.
LS6 Fox and his Croatia side will be in the next round though after topping the group on goal difference. Prso scored his second of the tournament and Klasnic bagged his third. Australia were given hope though as substitute Thompson added to the list of fine goals for Australia with a fine half volley. But Australia could not find the elusive equaliser, though they will be going home very proud of their performances.

France Get Maximum, Swiss Progress


Togo 0-1 France


Durham Fox's Togo side pushed France all the way in this hard fought match that could have gone either way. Dunc though will be going to the next round as winners of Group G after a late goal from David Trezeguet sealed it.


Switzeland 1-0 South Korea


Leeh will be extremely disappointed to be going home without a single point and they never looked like getting one is this match.
Frei scored a simple tap in after Yakin had had his shot saved.
Babylon progresses to the next round with his Swiss side impressing.

Spain And Ukraine Are Not On The Plane


Ukraine 1-0 Tunisia


Bocadillo goes through to the next round at the expense of Naughty Fox thanks a wonderful solo effort from Voronin. Ukraine were down to 10 men after Gusin was sent-off in the 57th minute. Tunisia could not find a way through the tight Ukraine defense.


Saudi Arabia 0-1 Spain


Real Sharapova takes first place in Group H after an unconvincing win over Foxes Girl's battlers.
Liverpool man Luis Garcia struck a low shot into the bottom corner on 28 minutes in this uninspiring match.
