Lazzer and his host nation side are through to the Quarter-Finals after this tight contest. No.6 Muzzy Izzet and Sweden forced this game into Extra-Time, Henrik Larsson hit the post with just minutes of the 90 to go.
In Extra-Time Germany always looked the better side and Podolski stroked home in the 109th minute.

Mike Hunt Smells' amazing run continued as Ivory Coast edged closer to the Final after a 1-0 victory over Old Gits Mexico. Borgetti missed several good opportunities ssomething that has been all too common in this tournament.
Dider Drogba will be unlucky if he does not win Goal Of The Tournament after an amazing goal.
Dindane played a long ball, Drogba chested it down on the edge of the box with his back to goal and somehow managed to turn and blast home as volley into the top corner.
A goal that deserved to take Ivory Coast to the next round.

No one would have imagined that Trinidad woul make the Quarter Finals not evenBeighton155, but that is exactly what happened in comprehensive style.Trinidad had a 3-0 lead before half-time courtesy of 2 two goals from the impressive Stern John and a nice header from Carlos Edwards. Kaviedes did get one back for Ecuador in the 73rd minute but any hopes of a comeback were dashed when Ambrossi was Sent Off for a dangerous tackle on the edge of the area.
Feriol and his Ecuador side can hold their heads up high after they exceeded expectations, but unfortunately they are on the plane home.

Zigic scored the only goal in this unlikely victory for Fox Fan a deflected shot that wrong footed Portugal keeper Ricardo. Not a memorable match but unfortunately for LBoro Fox it is the last memory his country will have of World Cup 2006.

Brazil and MK Fox will not believe they are going home after dominating this game from start to finish. Ronaldo and Ronaldinho both hit the post before Kaka hit the bar.The only person to blame for Brazil's defeat is Goalkeeper Dida who inexplicably dropped a tame shot and ghana forward Boakye was on hand to pounce on the fumble. Musswell Fox is into the Quarters, god knows how.
