22 to avoid the follow on.

Sounds a bloody exciting game, reminiscent of 1981.

Come on lads, show them we do have the mentality to kick the feckers when their down...

Would you make them bat again Duzza :102:

Tough one me thinks. Probably make them go again.

Our bowlers are on fire at the moment, if the cons don't beat the follow on score. Make them follow on,

Then skittle them out for an innings defeat.

See Ponting winge then, :icon_lol:

Not a chance. Set them 500 to win on a pitch thats getting worse and worse with 2 days to bowl them out.

True. But their heads are up their arses at the moment. I could see us skittling them out for an innings defeat.

Not going to happend tho.

Blessing in disguise that the Aussies have avoided the follow on IMO. Hopefully we can wrap up the last two wickets quickly and take a first innings lead of at least 170. Then if we bat sensibly we can make a minimum 250 and try and get the Aussies in for an hour or so tomorrow night and have 2 full days to skittle them out.

Lot of pressure on them to bat out 2 full days batting last on this pitch.

The most encouraging aspect for me is the emergence of Broad as a genuine replacement for Flintoff.

If England pull this off, it will haunt Ponting for the rest of his days.

Not certain, but i think he would be the only Aussie captain to have lost 2 Ashes series.

Come on England, put the foot on their throats.

He'll be the second to have lost 2 in England, first in around a century.

Fantastic stuff today, don't know who the idiots were two tests ago suggesting Broady should be rested :icon_redf :icon_redf

My mood at 5pm today was just a little better than 24 hours previously

300+ will do the job now
