    first song at a wedding

As our first date was to go and see Titanic, we thought it would be nice to have 'My Heart Will Go On' by Celine Dion. It wasn't until a few weeks before the wedding that I realised it was actually a terrible song.

I've bought it and to be honest its just a re-hash of the O'Neill years on the History DVD released a couple of years ago.

    New Kasabian Songs

Brilliant gig last night. I think the album is really good too (I actually like Take Aim!) Does anyone else think that the start of Ladies & Gentleman Roll The Dice sounds like the theme tune to Twin Peaks?

    Podcasts

Whilst on holiday I've been listening to The Ricky Gervais Guide To...... series of podcasts that have been released this year and almost fell off my sunbed laughing. Gervais comment about continental breakfast being gayer than poetry had me in tears. Karl Pilkington is a genius but has a...

    Jersey Budd - Wonderlands

Very good. Not usually a thing I would purchase, but I have been aware of him for a while as I half know the lead guitarist. I would say its a grower but worth buying im my opinion.

    Champions DVD

They stuck to goals on the Leicester City Classic Matches DVD as an extra feature. Shame there wasn't one last year, although we got relegated, as I have all the video's/dvd's since the 1990/91 season. Perhaps they will stick last seasons goals on the new DVD - may justify the price...

    Beatles Remastered

I was pointing out that Be Bop A Lula was not written by the Beatles, although yes they did cover it and infact Lennon used to sing it with the Quarreymen. I am the Walrus was Lennons response to people reading hidden meanings into their songs. 'Let the f***ers sort that one out' he...

    Beatles Remastered

Be bop a lula is not a Beatles song by the way. Also the songs you mention - check out the stories behind them before dismissing them. I am the walrus deliberately meant to be a nonsence song along the lines of an Edward Lear poem.

    Iphone

I have just bought one (well, upgraded to one) and I must say I am very impressed. It does depend on what you want it for though, for example there is no video camera, but (obviously) is good for music and I was able to follow the Crewe game via ifooty whilst at Gatwick Airport. Thumbs up from me!

    New Kasabian Songs

I have managed to listen to album versions of 5 new Kasabian songs, including Fast Fuse, Thick As Thieves, The Underdog, Fire and Vlad The Implaer. All great. Vlad the Imapler was out for download but does anybody know if any of the others are available anywhere?
