Once tried to read "The Castle" . Franz Kafka when I was a student, flung it down onto a table on a train. The girl who was sat opposite me then told me she had read it and the main character (K) doesn't even get to the damn castle ! Was gutted.

Seems that football books from around the world are better than politicians...and carry a better unified message too !

"Just Say Nu" by Michael Wex is a good read, a funny look at Yiddish. Read it on the plane back from Ben Gurion...tickled me OY !

I won't spoil it for you but you will like the way the book maps Friday's career with those of Best and Bowles. Have you read "The Far Corner" ?

An iconic image Motown lad, it was also his second goal against them as well . there is a little ( hazy ) footage of him playing for Reading on YouTube too.
