Not sure we can appeal. It wasn't a straight red and I don't think you can appeal against yellow cards (I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong!).
Thanks to my girlfriend dragging me up to Scotland last weekend to see her family, I found myself at an SPL game on saturday afternoon....Dundee against Dunfermline. Believe me, the standard of footie was shocking. I realise it was a relegation 6 pointer, but even so, it was poor. Aside...
Can you explain to me what large benefit ST's get?! Surely if ST's have surrendered their hard earned cash at the start of the season, yet have made no saving at all compared to buying tickets on a match by match basis there is NO financial benefit being a ST.

Now I appreciate that the Geordies are involved in the UEFA Cup, but it really fecks me off that there's one rule for a Premier League team in Europe and another for a Championship club. Our FA Cup...
How many times are people going to talk about the transfer window re LCFC? It doesn't apply to teams outside the Premiership. Levein can buy and sell as he wishes all season (if he had any funds to do that!).
Yeah...that's right, confirmed by:

So if this match hadn't been moved to friday night Reid would have been suspended for it
I agree with a lot of this. For once  I think the blame for saturday lies more with the players than the manager.
MA changed the formation and it paid dividends (2-0 up at half time)...surely that's good tactics? Or are we going to label it as "lucky" every time MA does get it right...
Good stuff, Sheffield. There ought to be a job for you down at the Walkers!
It will be very interesting to see how the stats pan out for the team over the course of the season.
Keep up the good work!
Blake hovering around the keeper actually p*ssed me off...forced the keeper to pick the ball up and hold on to it, rather than just boot it out and keep the game moving....especially as we were chasing the game by that point. What was he thinking that would achieve?
If it was one or two of the players underperforming I'd point the finger at them, but when the whole team look like they aren't up for it, surely you have to look at the driving force (ahem) behind those players....the manager.
Problem is, surely MA has a contract that the board have to honour.
I doubt very much that LCFC could afford to pay off MA's contract, and pay another DECENT manager every week. The only way round this is if MA resigns, but being the stubborn b*stard he is I just can't see him quitting.
Looks like there's a good chance we'll have the pleasure of Preston at the Walkers twice in one week then (and I expect poor support for the Cup game).
