Who exactly is going to play in centre midfield next year ?
No Izzett, Freund, Mckinlay, Hignett, Davidson.....

Nalis on his own ?

My god, we are completely up sh*t creek without a paddle

Nalis will look the best player in the league in the Fizzy. Mark my words. :P :P

I can see where you're coming from mate, but let's not get all too worried yet - Micky must have some deals stewing in the crock pot!!

So who's left and still under contract?
Thatcher, Elliott, Dabizas, Coyne, Scowy, Walker......any more?

Heath retained

and the youngsters bar Williamson are still around.

Is that it?

Can we trust those deals though? Howey, Curtis, Brooker, Gillespie, Priet, Hignett, Guppy, Freund are all players gone or going that Micky signed for the Prem, some of whom are now not good enough for Div1 apparently. We got lots of players so a few were bound to be donkeys, but this many?

But DID Micky sign them, or did Dave Bassett sign them?

Is that it?

Walker
Coyne

Canero
Elliot
Heath
Dabizas
Thatcher

Nalis
Scowcroft
Scimeca
Stewart

Morris
Benjamin
Wright
Dickov
Ferdinand?

Would appear to be the desired outcome from Micky

Question of how many come in, certainly midfielders for starters

Think guppy, freund, and hignett were bought in to keep us up, think that the plan was to get rid at the the season whatever our position, think the only 2 howlers in that list were gillespie and howey, they both had the right pedigree to do well and just didnt happen. Personally i think that gillespie drinks and smokes to much to be a pro footballer.

Both guilty, I suspect

Tonights football phone in is going to be unmissable after this...

"there's only one Darren Anderton...."

Oh dear

Good point - I see where you're coming from. We have got to take into account though that it was Micky's first attempt as a Premier manager, and with his budget his goal was to contract players who had prem experience in order to use them as a meansof attempting to retainin premier league status (hence many were on short contracts and had wage cuts in the expected scenario of being relegated). Sadly this failed, and by getting rid of these players Leigh I think it's a sign of Micky trying to learn from his mistakes perhaps?? What do you think mate?

That could be a better way of looking at in that MA has admitted in his actions that he has ballsed up with some of his transfers. If keegan could have done the same and dropped some his 'under performing' big names they would have done better this year methinks. Bet he's hoping someone comes in for fowler and anelka to save his skin.
