Forest plan new stadium for 2018 bid...
"Nottingham is not the only city in the midlands that has registered an interest in becoming a host - Derby and Leicester have also submitted bids."
http://www.2018england.co.uk/what-are-the-chances-of-a-successful-leicester-host-bid.html
interesting that the ground has a ''full renovation potential of upto 55,000''
Does sound like a good bid to be honest.
They have got an exhibition running at the moment in one of the empty shops in the Highcross
I believe that the free lease on the shop has expired now.
In other news, i'm sure I heard on the grapevine that Nottingham's bid has gone tits up. Something to do with a disagreement between the City and County Councils. This means its a regional two-horse race between Leicester and Derby.
A one horse race then.
I would suspect that if Forest can't get there act together then, we'd win this hands down.
Not sure if this is true, maybe someone could either confirm or tell me otherw*s* but aren't the final decisions on who would be apart of the bid, due around december time. if so not a lot of time for forest to sort there crap out.
IMO i think we'll get this.
Leicester is bigger than Derby.
That's if they choose a city in this area of the country...
