I will be of a mind to finally give up spending my hard earned cash on my season ticket, away tickets, club shop etc.

I am fed up to the back teeth of this, sick of it !
The two most sensible paragraphs I have read for a long time

So have only 65% agreed in what sense that they would sell their shares? In writing or verbal?

I would not think that MM would walk away now, as its quite 'well known' that he has been lowering his offer all the time and is just trying to get the club as cheap as possible as any other business person would. MM will obviously have a figure in his head that is the maximum he would offer, and only a daft person would place their highest offer on the table first. Nothing new to worry about IMO just the tables have turned on MM's negotiation. :102:

MM started with 'you'll get all your money back' and has gone down to a rumoured 12p in the pound. so he isn't going about this in the traditional way

agree its an odd split. and a problematic one.

does anyone know if the rival bid that was mentioned was shown to the shareholders before the vote? or is this solely on the merits of MMs offer without comparison?
that would have breached his agreement I think, but I wonder if the shareholders were contacted privately about an alternative bid to put them off.

from previous discussions on here i think anyone can still make a bid which the board are obliged to put before the shareholders, but they can't pursue or negotiate an offer with anyone other than MM

Well now Im totally ****in confused. Is it off or on or on or off or on or off or on, you know what i dont give a flying feck anymore.

sundays papers will say "mandaric says deal will be done by end of week" like every ****in week for as long as i can remember. its becoming a piss take, city should sell for 10p, i would even pay that

I suppose that if he is there tomorrow, at an away game again, there is a chance. If not, who the feck knows...

Wish I hadn't bothered logging on now, FFS I have had my fill of this club we are a fecking joke, the Cov fans must be rubbing their hands in glee at the opportunity to take the piss next week, is there really no end to the fecking idiocy that is LCFC.

i don't think you will like the answer to that question....

Or he has done his homework(DD), realised how much shit we're in, and thought why should I give them £1 for shares when really, I may be able to get away with paying 10p for them but willing pay upto x per share if they don't like my first offer.

Just when like buying a car, never offer the price on the wind screen!!

Ground share with the Tigers with the Rugby Club being the bigger partner in the deal. ;)

May not be that far from the truth.

The Tigers ground development talks stopped a while ago, Peter Toms has met with Teachers in America (from within the club.and not a gateman)

For the price of a new stand you can get a complete stadium

This from today's Mockery

And with the Milan Mandaric takeover now well on the way, Kelly may be able to bring more players to the club.

:icon_conf

Will somebody please put me (or them) in the picture

If I were the Tigers I would be in contact with Teachers as well. :icon_sad:

Apparently he has recently lowered his offer, a long time after DD was finished.

I understand what your saying and it makes snse, its the normal ay of doing things, but MM is playing a different game.

Perhaps he wants the extra 20% season ticket discount in the sale

Look nowhere have I actually officially seen that this deal is off, it is all hearsay and rumour as is everything that has been said so far about this takeover.

Lets all try to take a step back (i know its hard when it is our club at stake) and just let it run its course, whatever we do here is not gonna change what happens in that boardroom.

:038: :038:

I suspect that it was an "if the deal looked like this what would you do" meeting - no basis for saying that, other than that's how the whole saga seems to have been conducted over the last few months.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to find that just around the corner is..

..

..

another corner.

i agree, i can't see MM walking away. i think another 10% should be within his reach with an improved offer.

its p***ed me off with this rival bid now though, shareholders will be split, which will make it harder for MM and he might think its not worth it.

Earlier on in proceeding i would have welcomed a rival bid, if for nothing else, as a bargaining tool. but now its just crashing the party and prolonging things.

There may not be a rival offer, that was just rumour aswell
