COLIN CALDERWOOD has lined up a £500,000 bid for Stephen Clemence - and wants him as captain at Nottingham Forest.

Calderwood is ready to dangle the carrot of the skippers armband to Clemence in a bid to lure him from Leicester.

Clemence is also wanted by Midlands rivals Wolves but Calderwood - who knows him from his time at Spurs - is closing in on a deal.
