I'm happy to be shot down here. Tielemans looked like Wellens reborn. Mendy looked lost. Praet stilted. But then the substitutions. We came alive, and resorted to being the players that they can be. I'm not drunk yet, I'm stunned.

Arsenal were so poor.
Pretending they are some kind of top side who are deadly and should be approached with absolute caution is just wrong.
They would have been 3 up in the 1st half if they were anything other than wasters as we defended ike drunkards.
This little team mentality only worked against the scary big 6 beasts of Arsenal because they were anything other than big and scary.
I'm sorry but this weird mentality will be the reason we lose the next game, just like after we beat Man City we got done by two absolute whoppers in villa and WHam

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta tells BBC Sport: "The game the way it went, I felt we had total control in the first half and restricted them to nothing. We were winning every ball, created a few chances and scored a goal I don't know how it got disallowed. I would like to see the Premier League give us all the PPV money for this as they simply don't deserve any of it.

Have to agree that the approach, ugly as it was, was spot on. Arsenal's figures don't lie.
Arteta has done what's needed to be done for ages & tightened them up defensively. BUT, as is nearly always the case it's come at the cost of them being shite going forward. They're basically the reverse of what they used to be. They're a hell of a lot easier to defend against than they were.
