He is supposed to be young and fit!

Did The Horse get time to get match fit? No! He just fecking went out there and behaved as a professional in the great traditions of Ferdinand and Sheringham!

These young kids could learn a lot about what it means to be a professional footballer. It fecking means that if the Gaffer invites you to pull on the Royal Blue shirt you fecking produce a performance, or do not expect to be asked again!

Horsfield,Fryatt,Hume and one new signing would be the striking options I would choose.Fryatt may well improve/benefit playing alongside Horsfield.Get rid of Hammond and Cadamarteri

Obviously you need matches to get back into form just like Horsefield has, did Horsefield have an injury before these 3 matches he has played in a row:102: You need matches and training, i believe RK brought Matty back too soon the first time he was injured, give him time and im sure he will prove you wrong.

I don't think Fryatt has had the right type of strike Partner playing alongside him and a more experienced Striker may well help him...might be wrong though

Cracking if he wants to stay because to do that he has to prove himself and to do that he has to score goals on a consistent basis.

Goals mean wins and that I like!

Agree. Fryatt is the player who has the greatest potential and ability at the club. He is still a young lad learning his trade. Because of the impact he had last season everybodys expectations are massive. He'd learn a lot from playing alongside big Geoff.

Horse, Fryatt and Hume i'd keep. If i had to let one go i'd sell Hume.

Hammond can do one. Not good enough. Caddy i'd give a 1 year deal. Anything more and he'd relax and go off the rails again thinking he'd made it again. He can play wide also which is a bonus.

Bring in one more experienced striker.

I cant believe anyone can question the horse yet, he isnt even slightly match fit and outclassed the covscum defence on his own on sat.

FEED HIM AND HE WILL SCORE!!!

Well Said HF. Fryatt until this season was one of England's best prospects upfront. You dont become a bad player in a year at 21. I'd get another 28 yr old+ brick shithouse, you can never have too many strikers in this division.

This Horse chap, cult hero already, played Cov, scored twice, gets a honourable mention in Chapter 18 of Hazzman's Memory Of LCFC.

everytime I have seen fryatt other then against fulham he has looked lazy and unfit. Been unfit is the blame for his poor form but the player gets fit by putting the effort in training, to me fryatt looks like one of those players who thinks he is better then what he is and as such doesnt need to do the work in training. I remember a few walsall fans saying some stuff about his attitude. He is young so I do admit there is time to pull himself together but I reckon if he doesnt sort it by the summer he will be gone as MM has a very short term view on things and kelly knows he needs results now to keep his own job rather then worrying about his players. With the competition for places we have now up front I think this is what we need to give fryatt some motivation to improve himself.

Could not agree more, top post.

If anything can and should motivate him, it's the takeover. I agree with your last sentence, if he doesn't improve, he can go.

Problem is though, with no proper reserve team to give recovering players a proper game or two, it's always going to be difficult to regain that match sharpness.

Thats my fear, I think a loan spell until the end of the season, or even for a month, would do Fryatt the world of good

Rumour has it that the Championship will have a reserve league next season, probably on a regional basis.

In which case we will need enough players to be able to compete. This season that has been as big a problem as the lack of a league.

Fryatt needs to go out on loan and gain match fitness, which at this part of the season will be a big task. He also needs to keep off the pies..

But I could not care less if he leaves, I think his days are numbered

this true and should be in place for next season as most clubs have suffered due to not haveing a reserve league this season
