Re: What's your starting line up for saturday

Fair point LCFC 4 life, I guess aswell you have to say that De Vries deserves his chance, as much as Fryatt does now - But I only hope Fryatt is given that chance thats all, to put an end to all this off the field talk by playing well on it.

But again, whichever way you wanna play it, lets get behind them and support whoever pulls the shirt on come opening day, be it Fryatt, De Vries...Elvis? Hmm. :-)

i also think Fryatt should be given a chance possibly ahead of Hume.
When Fryatt first arrived he was brilliant and scored goals he just had a difficult season because of "injury" last year

Re: What's your starting line up for saturday

Be interesting to see what happens if Mattock doesnt pull through.

Re: pre-blackpool match thread

Not mention all the extra wees as the excitement builds!

It would be great if this opening fixture were to sell out. It would be a big vote of confidence in what Milan and Martin have done so far.

It is not possible for us to sell out due to the ridiculous all season ticket sections.

and that Blackpool are stuggling to sell their allocation only 1800 so far

I think this will be the side.
Although from I've seen, I would rather have Hendo in goal. Also can see Newton playing left midfield and Weso on thright if Mattock doesn't pass his fitness battle.

Re: pre-blackpool match thread

I'll be surprised if the crowd is much more than 24,000, reasons: the ticket regulations; opposition has little appeal; lots of people on holiday.

On the one hand Leicester should always beat Blackpool at home, irrespective. On the otherhand, I don't think our team is that strong and the number of new players suggests that time will be needed for things to settle down.

On balance, I think Blackpool will probably think we are better than we are and although they are coming from a long run of wins I think we might well sneak a 1-0 win.

And yes I did see the last home league game against Blackpool. I also remember seeing an away game there in the early 60's when Bloomfield Road was starting to look very shabby. Noticed the ground this summer and lots of work going on...but it looks so small now.
