Can't see the tree for the forest. So there is a tree in the room. Is that the real problem?
We may not have the personnel to play 4-4-2 but what's to say we have the right players for a 3-5-2? I agree we should try it but a midfield of Ndidi, Iborra and King or Amartey looks dreadfully lacking in any creativity whatsoever. I just don't think we have good enough players in this area full stop.
I guess the point is that we won't know until we try of course.
Some people, not all. We could end up sacking CS and having very few options to pick from. If we're honest, the likelihood is that if we sack him now, it'll be Appleton for a bit followed by Sam Allardyce. It would also cost us a huge sum of money and make us look even more ruthless than some people think we are already. I'd rather see if we can improve under CS for now.Crucial if we are being honest.
...but money can do an awful lot to interest people.
We'll soon enough see Forest if we carry on with elephantsCan't see the tree for the forest.
I don't think Allardyce is the answer.
There are two expressions. "White elephant", and "elephant in the room". You've combined the two, and I don't think you know what either means.
I think a midfield of 5 should be made up of king nindidi iborra allbrighton and marhezI agree our midfield options are weak and lack creativity, which is why I would like Gray and Mahrez given freedom in a 451.
The best of what we have imo.
When it fell out of the tree it scared itself silly.
Honestly there probably won't be a change of formation and it will lead to shaky being sackedIve been hoping Shakespeare comes good. Hoping that the early season results are because of the teams we've played. But it's being harder and harder to hold on to that hope.
I was pretty pleased with our summer recruitment before the final deadline day. We'd strengthen in the areas we needed to. New CB, new CM, new striker (who i thought would have a far greater impact than he currently has)
Losing Drinkwater and not getting Silva has fecked us.
The one thing i would say is that I saw plenty of commitment and effect in the first half - just zero quality (particularly in midfield). We were outplayed by Bournmouth.
I'm not sure what the answer is. I honestly don't see a change of formation suddenly solving the complete lack of quality we have in midfield.
Did it have pink nail polish on so it could hide in a cherry tree?
I think a midfield of 5 should be made up of king nindidi iborra allbrighton and marhez

Only 2 of those players exist.I think a midfield of 5 should be made up of king nindidi iborra allbrighton and marhez
How arrogant. The old ones are the best!!
I don’t think it’s management I don’t think we have enough quality in the mid or the ability to keep playing a 4-4-2 but no one likes to switch formation. If next week we switch the likely good we get smashed by West Brom and then SwanseaHonestly there probably won't be a change of formation and it will lead to shaky being sacked
