What you mean compared to our faultless performances last season against the likes of forest away and WBA away oh and Sheffield Wednesday away?! We all know Pearson was a good manager (if not a bit of a bully) but as much as everyone wants to blame Milan he is a big boy and it was his choice to walk out on us! It is far too early to judge Sousa and his managment skills he has obviously had to wait for this takeover before he can spend any money so let's judge him in a few weeks but not after game three!

And especially not like a couple on here who seemed to not like him and been hoping he will fail ever since day one!

Wednesday was an off day but we were still defensively organised to stand a chance.
Difference is all three sides we've played have been very, very average. Burnley didn't create another clear-cut chance all game and their tactics consisted of aiming the ball towards Iwelumo and having Wade Elliott pick the ball up.

Forest and West Brom were very good on the days we played them.

Now I have had some time to think there were a number of things which concerned me.

1) The system. It's not balanced.
2) The lack of tactical nous. After ten minutes, it was easy to spot three players for Burnley who needed playing out the game. Iwelumo, Elliott, Alexander.
3) Andy King. Sousa wants him to play forward, this leaves the right wing exposed and King's game neutralised. Also, he got the ball about fifteen times and rarely made a pass.
4) Attitude. Only Wellens looked ready to battle whilst Howard and Campbell moaned.
5) Moreno's passing. As bad as Brown's.
6) Sousa's failure to change system.
7) Subs. Why waste a sub when your right backs having a decent game and you have two subs left.
8) Djombo's crossing. If you're going to cross the ball. At least look up rather than whack a ball across.

I think the pitch invader symbolised a lot. Once he got on the pitch he didn't have a ****ing clue and wandered about. (That was all pathetic the lads involved were being wound up by ten year olds. Typical city fans...****ing grow up. I laugh it off and gave em the Burnley kids the thumb up what a terrific wind up job displayed...full marks.

According to bbc gossip page Martin O'Neill is set for a shock return to management with....

For*$t. :@

Is it? Really? I find it entirely believable, I would have thought at your age you'd be used to our fans by now.

It has been a terrible start to the season but this year we have not had as much of an easy start as last year. People seem to forget that the messiah's team managed to lose to Preston twice in 2 months at the start of last season. We also drew at home to Peterborough for **** sake....not that I am excusing our terrible form so far this season, but lets not kid ourselves into thinking we were amazing this time last year.

In order to keep his job I think Sousa needs to start spending on players that can actually pass and play the style of football he wants to play. If he is unable to bring those players in he has to just accept that this team can be functional and grind out results. To start with Dany and DJ on the pitch when we have players of much better quality on our bench is ****ing retarded though, so that can be slated even at this early stage

hooray... some sense at last.

So who would you replace Dany and D.J. with?

Three games and some (not you dpjfox) are writing off the manager: unbelievable. If things get any dafter, we'll be decrying a new manager after watching the team warming up!

I can't stand the successor to Sousa already and want him/her sacked now. He/she has not released any details about signings, has not laid out any plans for Champions League dominance or signalled when Messi will be arriving at the club for a signing session in the shop.

If we don't protest about this now then this situation will continue as we drift towards oblivion.

So who would you replace Dany and D.J. with?

Dany would be replaced by Gallagher, seems a pretty easy decision to make on that one.

When available I'd play Fryatt instead of DJ, yesterday of course we didn't have much choice but to play DJ.

Dany N'Guessan is a good footballer but i sense he is not clever enough to push on to a higher level.

As for D.J being dropped why not play him and Fryatt together i don't understand it will not work partnership,...45 minutes against Palace is not enough time to judge.

DJ was one of the 2 or 3 who did ok yesterday imo, its Howard who needs axing maybe give Crnic a chance (certainly at Leeds)

my front 3 for Reading would be Crnic Fryatt DJ (gally and Moussa as back up)
Or better still get the cheque book out

We need 2 miffielders to partner Wellens (on yesterdays performance)
And a good centre back to partner Hobbs
Then just try and understand what PS wants (most dont!), then we might stay up!

I had hoped that things would turn faster; but hey.
Personally I was absolutely gutted when NP went, I still feel he was our best manager post O'Neil and that of he and Mr Walsh had had this Thai war-chest then I would have been fairly confident of some credible signings coming in to the club.
However, Mr Sousa has asked we give him time and that we must I fear, however if he plunders the Thai money on a load of old Prattley and we drop again then King Dour may well leave us in a right fine mess....
Happy days.

Some things seem obvious. My top five:
1. Anyone slagging off Neilson hasn't seen any games this season.
2. Moreno isn't a defender. Never has been, never will be.
3. Morrison doesn't like being on the bench, and he shouldn't be there.
4. A decent back-up keeper is a pressing need.
5. Most City fans are impatient wankers with no perspective of anything that goes on in football.

Number 6? After three games of 2009-2010, Forest and Swansea were in the bottom three.
