Ok I may be about to eat my words here Notts! My mate who works for PNE says Pearson was interviewed by Burnley this afternoon. I know thats hardly an inside source but hes not a Tber so its a bit more then a coincidence that he would tell me.

Has he feckin gone yet, or what

Useless miserable grey haired old tosser - good riddance I say

As I just told Dd, I was at the ground this arvo, Pearson's motor was outside alongside either Mandarics or Hoosx
maybe sorting out compo :icon_wink

seriously though, the fact my mate told me this without any knowledge of this forum, thought it was worth passing on.

Unbelievable decision by Burnley to appoint a manager who has only just been sacked for taking a team into the relegation spots in the Championship. He has acheived nothing to justify such an elevation.

Did you not read the second paragraph of this post?

and probably because he played for them, it makes me laugh how clubs usually like to go for an ex player to be their next manager, do they do it to try and get the fans on their side or because if they were a decent player for them they automatically think theyll be a decent manager as well :102:

Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourinho were no where near Conference standard players, I don't think. How are they as managers?

Arsene Wenger played for Strasbourg and made appearances in the UEFA Cup. A little bit better than a conference player if you ask me.

EDIT: And I'm sure Mourinho played for a top division Portuguese side at some point as well, even if it wasn't for long.

Nah. Mourinho wasn't even good to play semi-pro. Sunday league player I think.

Roy Hodgson only played non-league football as well, and Frank Worthington was a shite manager. :icon_wink
