Get out.
Get. OUT!
I understand your sentiments Graz, I'm purely doing this as I know that disappointment occurs, and to pay £10 to ease any potential heartache is, in my opinion, a decent move. Here are the scenarios and outcomes. (with my ratings and comments in brackets).
1. No Bet:
a. Leicester fail to get promoted. (0/10 - a truly awful feeling, suicidal for a few months, have to bear another season is the bloody championship playing the likes of Leeds, Watford, Blackpool and Bournemouth)
b. Leicester get promoted. (10/10 - euphoria - the perfect outcome. Champagne, etc. Probably a cheeky one off the wrist to celebrate)
2. With my bet:
a. Leicester get promoted and you have to pay £10. (9.99/10 - a great feeling, with a tiny little loss to take a 0.01% edge off the feeling)
b. Leicester fail to get promoted and you gain £500. (0.5/10 - a horrid feeling but offset by 5% due to the fact that the coffers are looking a bit more healthy)
Now, if you add up the ratings and grade each scenario out of the possible 20 (two possible outcomes for each scenario) you get this:
1. No bet: 10 out of 20
2. With my bet: 10.49 out of 20
Ok, only 0.49 better in the ratings department but still, 0.49 is worth having.
I rest my suitcase.
