The interview with Pearson talked about Brown and Vaughan, but no mention of the giant cocked one. I assume that means he won't be available - anyone know any more?

I'd have N'Guessen in instead of Spearing, but otherwise, the same as above.

?

For the record, if we can keep the deficit at one goal for as long as possible, I'd fancy us in the last half hour with the tried and tested formula of Howard and Fryatt. Miracles are going to happen...

I think that is spot on.

The chance to go for the throat was missed last Sunday.

I don't think that NP would remotely consider trying an all out attack approach at Cardiff and even if we tried it, i think it would fail.

I'm pretty certain that we are on a loser now - but trying to be slightly positive, I guess that the best chance is to try to keep it tight and then pinch a goal....and then take it from there.

I reckon that's exactly what we should do. If we lose 1-0 or 10-0, we still lose but at least we go out fighting. Hit them hard as we can from the off and keep on hitting.

Cardiff have previous of throwing away a play-off first leg lead, in 2002 they beat Stoke 2-1 away and then lost 2-0 at home, with the 2nd goal being scored in injury time. i would settle for the same tomorrow.

All we have to do is win a game of football, some people seem to have written us off already.

I think we need to forget the "we need to win by two clear goals", that just adds extra pressure, especially if they were to scored first.

Focus on trying to win the first 90 whether it's 1-0, 2-1 or 3-2 it doesn't matter. If we can get to the end of 90 having won the game, the wind will be in our sales and they will feel like they've thrown it away.

2002 is not recent previous. Recent previous would be P4 W3 L1.

Sorry if this has been posted, haven't been online much. Only Bolton in 95 have overturned a first leg semi deficit in play offs and got promoted to prem :-(

I think the manner in which we approached Sunday's game has left many doubting us. An ounce of belief from our players and manager should show improvement
