The difference is that Cardiff may have been spending money they don't have, when they haven't paid back money they owe for the loans.

I think all clubs should try to live within their means. Borrowing to fund possible success is a dangerous thing to do, but some people see the potential rewards and take the gamble anyway. It's particularly dangerous if you have one person who owns the club and can do what he wants with it. Gretna is the latest in a long line of clubs in trouble because of this kind of gambling.

Jeff all clubs borrow money even those at the top of the major leagues, I am glad cardiff didnt get docked points as I find that unfair, we are at the bottom spending more money than cardiff, our fate is our own fault not theirs.

My point is that they have been spending excessive amounts on players, when they may have been refusing to pay loan payments that were due.
It's like you deciding not to pay your mortgage, but to spend the money on a new car instead.

Except in our case we bought the car to do a delivery job to earn the money to pay the mortgage when it is due to be paid in 2016.
I've also read that there are investors on the brink of sinking some significant cash into the club, provided a suitable conclusion to the legal action is found. Just need to get the monkey off our backs.

Assuming the court decides it really does have to be paid in 2016. My point was based on it being due now.
Dont see it getting there. Let's get this season out of the way first (Wemberley, Wemberley, got my ticket, train and hotel and I'm off to Wemberley)

What should happen in my view is those directly responsible should be prosecuted and fined instead such as the chairman and board of the clubs in question at the time.
