I think it's good that the club tells us when and how to celebrate. It saves us having to think for ourselves.

It also lets the little people in L1 know there has been a goal scored whilst they were sticking their fingers up at the away fans.

Did anyone else notice that there seemed to be quite a gap between the goal going in and the music starting on Saturday. The guy next to me commented that they obviously weren't prepared for an early goal and were probably still putting away the post horn.

For a moment we thought we'd been spared and most people seemed to have worked out all by themselves when to celebrate. I didn't notice L1 :icon_bigg

ps I admit to being a total hypocrite and dancing though.

Was raised at the latest (utterly pointless) Fans Consultative Committee

http://www.lcfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/FansConsultativeCommittee/0,,10274~1404282,00.html

We are obviously stuck with it for the forseeable future (and at least until three quarters of our fans stop dancing to it) so can we stop talking about it now ?

Nice try, Lisa, by the way
Two of us said there was no need for Chelsea Dagger, or any other music.

It's easy to say "the fans seem to like it, they are all jumping up and down", but how much of that is down to the goal, and not what is being blasted out over the PA system. As already pointed out, we don't stop celebrating away from home without having someone telling us what to sing, and what to jump up and down to. In fact, we've managed for years at home without it.

I once went to a James gig and the whole of the seated area was up on its feet....I remained seated for the duration of the show

Didn't those who found themselves ridiculous, sit down next to you?

But some morons love it

Last night on EMT they did a feature on our fans boarding coaches to go to the game

They asked some stupid bint whether or not she liked it in League One, and she said "Yes, 'cos we get to go der-der-der-der-der-der" and proceeded to do the feckin' "twatty chelsea dagger dance"

What a twat

Whilst her, and her ilk, remain alive we are stuck with the sodding thing

Her ilk is about another 18000+ all doing the "twatty chelsea dagger dance" every time we score, including me and my two grandsons.

Are we all stupid bints and twats? When we stop enjoying it and get fed up with it we will stop, like we did with Birch's team name calling.

Personally I think the Kop's "Stand up if you luv Lesta" every 5 minutes is pathetic, but I would not want them to stop simply because I do not like it.

and W*nkers like myself playing it in covers bands at weddings, a bloody hateful piece of work it really is, I feel rightly very ashamed.

Whatever your feelings on 'goal music', it is undeniable that a large amount of people that do get up to cheer the goal do actually move, sway and raise their hands in time to Chelsea Dagger when it starts too.

Even worse is the moronic anti Nottingham stuff. At least save it until we actually play them FFS.
