Crikey! Any of them actually speak English?

Ranieri himself does, and pretty well, if they've moved around with him before I would think there's a good chance they do too. English is most of the world's second language of choice, and I'm not sure how much would actually be needed in a football job anyway.

So our aim is one more point than last season

Staggering. Truly staggering

Our aim is to consolidate and improve. That's perfectly reasonable and I'd much rather he say that than 'Top 6 or bust' or some such nonsense.

I was ****ed off by the Pearson sacking too, but we should move on. Foxes Talk is full of doom merchants - let's keep this place an oasis of calm. Please :)

To be fair if Pearson was still here most supporters would have happily accepted that, seems Ranieri is going to get absolutely zero support from some

If Ranieri does well then he's just been lucky to inherit St Nigel's team of greats, if he doesn't then they told you so. A win-win approach with added negativity for giggles.

One point more. Ok, so if we keep on that trajectory then by around 2059 we'll be league champions.

Given the trauma the club has gone through in the off-season and possibly losing their talismanic best player I'd say retention of premier league status is a fair goal.

Of course the "1 point better" comment more generally means "I want to move us forward."

Better to just lynch him instead though.
