Having just won the Premier League playing a solid four at the back, why on earth would we suddenly ditch it all and run an experimental formation that we have not touched with a bargepole, in the biggest game in the Club's history ?

WE WON THE PREMIER LEAGUE, FFS

Some people are having a serious wibble this week

I think we should play all the formations. At any given moment players should act as though they are quantum particles and be all over the pitch until someone looks for them - then they'll magically appear in that position.

This may not be exactly how quantum theory works but that's because football is more powerful than the laws of nature. (Hence balls picking up speed on wet grass)

It might also pay off to discover the bubbleverse where we win the whole CL thing and just read posts on that Talking Balls.

as some commented pre match Morgan was probably not 100% ready/focused for Liverpool game imo the usual back four will be ok provided they recieve adequate defensive help from the midfield Im hoping Slimani starts and helps get improved performances out of Mahrez and Vardy, Prem teams seem to be cslowly working out ways of stopping us but foreign teams wont be used to high energy/tempo/in your face teams, lets turn back the clock and put in a powerfull Champions performance to show the rest of Europe why we are Premier League Champions

I think it's 31° in Bruges at the moment. Probably 26° around kickoff tomorrow. Not the best temperature for our pressing game.

Is it the full stop key that's broken?

Andy 'quantum' King flickering in and out of existence on the pitch, as always.

A back four is fair enough if you have the personnel but if Simpson is out I just don't fancy Hernandez as a right back.

As a right sided player in a 3 man defence or him playing with Huth would work. However as a right back or as a twosome with Morgan it just doesn't work for me.

In any case we have to take on different formations now, with all the games we'll have to play this season and different competions. The days of 442 for every game are over.

Brugge only sold 20k out of 29k tickets but wouldn't give us anymore than 1400.

Bit of a shitter really.

If people stopped watching Drinky's shots they'd both go in and miss at the same time, instead of just missing. That's a 50% improvement right there simply by avoiding the match. I commend this policy to the safe house which I may or may not be in at this very moment.

Science, bitch.

Ian String theory to be discussed on RL following the game by Fermatt Elliott.

Are we certain that City asked for any more than this?

BT Sports saying Simpson has travelled but might not start.
