Agreed Taylor was a wanker, but he wasn't the only manager to have trouble with SC, as people have stated earlier he;s got a screw lose.

He said MON was the best manager he ever worked with but how many games did he actually play for MON before MON left.

He could of signed him for free for Celtic (in fact SC publically begged him to in the papers) but he chose not to.

My understanding was that Stan said how ironic it was as he had been a Rangers fan as a youngster. Only Stan could be that indiscreet. The Celtic board immediately overruled Martin. The Celtic-Rangers rivalry is so intense one wonders what throwing Stanley Victor into the mix would have done.

Not as many as he could - don't forget he suffered a compound fracture of his leg at the shaggers.

Leicester 5 Sunderland 2 was as good as it got. Heskey sold before the next game and the rest is history. That game was a tantalizing glimpse in to what we could have been. I hadnt seen such a good front pairing since Lineker and Smith

Amen. I still have that on tape.

Don't know why the club don't sell it on dvd. :icon_cry: Would love so much to see that game again. :038:
