and I suppose when you called for previous manager's heads because they werent improving things you were right then too?

No, I give all managers a chance to prove themselves, 17 games imo is more than enough to prove Holloway can take this club forward. He is failing miserably. Allen, Iwasn't sure about, but I think he should have been given more time to prove himself, Megson I liked and was impressed by MM for taking him on. Would have benn happy if he had stayed, Kelly, great coach but not managerial material, did the best he could. Levein, was doing ok until the November of that season. At least we played some good attacking football even if we weren't getting the results. Should have been given another month after buying Fryatt ... I could go on.

I don't often call for a managers head, but this is one that has a lot of work to do to prove he is the right man.

That's just what we need...another bloody manager.

The reason we are in this mess is because we can't stick with anyone for more than five minutes.

Holloway is a good manager. His record before coming to Leicester City is proof enough of that. The problems with the club go far beyond a manager or any individual. The mentality of the players is the true problem and only stability and consistency can change that.

They need to learn to win again and they need a structure of support and management behind them to do that. Changing that again, getting ANOTHER set of players, and then doing it all over again two months later is not going to get us anywhere.

Can we please all grow up and stick with what we have. If we are relegated we are relegated but it is certainly not Holloway's fault...it is the fact that the club has been rotten to the core for a long long time.

I just dont see what effect another managerial change this season will have on an already damaged confidence wise team. Rediculous

Thank god, a sensible post :038:

You were doing quite well until that

But SF, he's been supporting them for 35 years, of course he is right...

No, it was a sensible point of view, until you basically say you'd prefer stability over relegation.

I can't see that I have said that. I have said that if we are relegated it isn't the managers fault. The problem has been about 10 managers with 10 different sets of players and absolutely no stability.

If you want to make a further mockery of the club and guarantee relegation I suggest we go ahead and change the manager again.

I for one think that idea stinks so I would prefer to stick with the decent manager we have who is in a rotten situation. I would not blame him if he left of his own free will personally...LCFC is managerial career suicide.

All i have to say is i support Ollie 100%, in my opinion we havent had a better manager for quite some time. whilst it may take time to turn it around im prepared to wait as chopping and changing has been proved not to work for us.

I asked where we were when Holloway took over, no one has bothered to answer that, the answer is 17th in the table, we are now 20th, and in freefall. Forgive me for thinking that our club is being ****ed by an arrogant manager that can't see he's getting it wrong.

How can he be in a rotten position, I'll repeat myself. In january we had a turn over of 18 players. This is his team, how long do we have to wait 'til they ''gel'' ? If were going to relegated lets at least see some free flowing attacking football, the type of football that Holloway says is his style.

Not just us. It has been proven that the most successful clubs have a long established manager...someone they stick with through difficult patches.

Manager of the month should not have the meaning that it does at our once great club.

Clearly ignorance isn't bliss.

Im glad some people are level headed enough to understand that with stability and the right people in the right places success will come.

we have 1 person in the right place - IH

let him do his work and we will progress....

saying this im not looking forward to Watford....!!! But knowing City it will be a 'turn around performance' until the Norwich game!

but lets see!!!

Something bothers me and thats the state of the pitch. Up until the last home game I never thought the pitch was bad but pretty good by the standards of other pitches around. The state of the pitch stops the players performing to their best ability, and so then teams such as Plymouth can now beat us.

It`s got nothing to do with the pitch.... teams can come to the walkers and play us off the park no problem, if they can score then why can`t we?

It`s all about belief and togetherness and we just dont have that at the minute.

it does make any tactic other than hoofball very hard to try and impliment though, which is something we are useless at anyway

fecking read the post properly.........

I said how, why and when did the pitch become bad. I fully realise both teams play on the same fecking pitch. I asked why has it become bad!!!!!! FFS

Aay! Lets get a astraturf(plastic pitch) installed down there and try and play it on the deck.

Answer = Still crap

Outcome = stick with Olli, it`s not his fault.
