fecking read the post properly.........
I said how, why and when did the pitch become bad. I fully realise both teams play on the same fecking pitch. I asked why has it become bad!!!!!! FFS
Bad groundsmen i suppose!!!!!!
This is what you said!!!
" The state of the pitch stops the players performing to their best ability, and so then teams such as Plymouth can now beat us"
I dont agree, Thats a shit excuse, they are playing on a bad pitch the same as we are.
Just admit it, we aint good enough.
Isn't that the managers fault ?

I WISH I HAD SAID THAT........:icon_roll:icon_roll:icon_roll
not very good at reading are you
Come MM do the right thing and get Sam Allardyce in. Ian Holloway couldn't manage his way out of a wet paper bag, so we need the best Manager available and that has to be big Sam.
MM, if you want to go down in history as the man that took City down to the lower leagues then stick with Holloway. If you want effectiveness then hire someone effective. If you don't, you are just pouring money down the drain. :icon_conf
Mite not be very good at reading but i can read and tell a good game when i see one, unlike you, And ive just been flicking through the posts and this is what you said to Boc earlier.
No Boc you got it wrong. I said they both have to play on the same pitch in whatever condition, what I was getting at was how quick it has become a bad playing surface. Against Cov is was pretty good, against Palace it was pretty bad and even worse yesterday.... WTF is going on?
You said in a earlier post that we hoof the ball because of the pitch.
It`s like your blaming our bad luck on the pitch.
It`s all about getting and playing together as a group, forget about the pitch .
Theres no togetherness there.
What are you on.
Have you ever bothered to think, having supported the club for 35 years, having seen it all before, I might just be right.
I agree entirely. We will never get anywhere with supporters who genuinely beleive its best for us to have our 4th manager of the season
I think the number is irrelevant, it's getting the right one that counts. We will never get anywhere with supporters who genuinely beleive its best for us to have our 4th manager of the season

You can't tar everybody with that brush, some people have been open minded about Ollie from day one, these people aren't "fickle", they have genuine concernsIncreasingly fickle fans, abjectly negative support and wholly unreasonable expectations of where we should be doesn't facilitate the quick turnaround in our fortunes a lot of people seems to expect is our divine right...
Win a couple of games and the overwhelming response is one of 'Ollie's got it right', 'we're on the way back', ' play-offs still a possibility' etc......massive over expectation abounds....
All of which are the responsibility of the Managerrealistically though hasn't Holloway mirrored what the more informed supporters of this club have been saying for three seasons or more....the squad lacks balance, morale is low, there is no desire to wear the shirt, we've lost the ability to come back from behind....etc.etc..
We all believe he is trying to address the problems, it's hardly rocket science, it's just that some people are doubting his ability to do so. Being as we have no evidence to suggest that he can, is it wrong to doubt?I honestly believe he is trying to address the problems we have all identified...and in itself that is refreshing...to have a manager who sees the state of the club from a thinking fans perspective...time will tell if he can turn ideas into action but in my opinion there is other option than to give him that time and more importantly our support....
Why ? If the right man comes in, the club can be turned around. Lets stop with the excuses, look at Palace. 2nd bottom when Warnock took over, now 7th. No, I don't want Warnock as manager, but if the right man is employed, that person can make a big difference. Do we put up with second rate managers who can't motivate, can't alter his tactics (other than rotating strikers on the wing or putting 4 strikers on, leaving us with no midfield). Our club deserves better and to do better we may well have to have our 4th manager in a season.
Have we adopted the Newcastle United approach to supporting our club ?

Lose the next two games and it's time to 'change the manager', 'we're in free-fall' 'relegation is on the cards'....
I feel the same massive downturn in expectations as another false dawn breaks...just when we thought IH had got it right against Cov we meander our way to back to back defeats and collectivley feel increasingly deflated and pessimistic about our future....
realistically though hasn't Holloway mirrored what the more informed supporters of this club have been saying for three seasons or more....the squad lacks balance, morale is low, there is no desire to wear the shirt, we've lost the ability to come back from behind....etc.etc..

my guess is that he will replace Clemence with Oakley as captain and bring in more wide options in midfield to also give us what we can all see...a need to address the lack of leadership on the field and to give us the width and delivery Howard and co. require upfront....
of course let's see what the next few games and weeks bring but let's try to view things realistically....to change a club's foundations and rebuild the complete structure from almost scratch isn't going to happen overnight....it's a season's work ...possibly more...let's do our best to help ....
