tickets available on the day?

prob not i think...?

oh and don't go Crystal Palace station

It is the closest train station to the ground though.

How far away.

2 and a bit miles. thornton heath, norwood and selhurst are the closest

tickets were on sale on the day last season, i had to buy mine there as i forgot the tickets when i left the house

I'm going despite at first telling myself I definately wouldn't go.

well KLFox can't go, but i may rock up on my own without a ticket :)

what pub is everyone going?

last year we popped to some pub next to spoons at thornton heath, was ok. they will sell on the door so you shouldn't have too much of a problem

Hello,

I'm a Leicester fan living in Bristol (I was born in Leicester and have always been a fox!). I am an L Block season ticket holder and am trying my hardest to make as many home and away games this season. I will be travelling up to Selhurst Park but on my own, wondered if anyone else was in same position; either travelling from Bristol or just travelling alone to the game. This will be my first away game and just wondered how dodgy it'll be travelling to and from the game alone, and should I avoid wearing my shirt etc. Any tips would be appreciated. Also is anybody planning to meet up before the game so they can travel to the stadium in numbers?!

Cheers

Damien (away game virgin, although every home game is pretty much an away trip for me!)

Hi lcfc40,

I've never known of any trouble between us and palace, so I'm fairly sure you'l have no problems.

I would think there would be a good percentage of Leic fans making the journey by train, so you won't be alone.

Cheers nottingham fox, too late for me to back out anyway! Match ticket, coach & connecting train are already booked!

It's The Railway Telegraph, turn right out of Thornton Heath station, less than one minute.

Bristol Rovers win 4-1 on penalties.

League One side Bristol Rovers sent Crystal Palace crashing out of the Carling Cup after beating the Championship side on 4-1 on penalties.
Keeper Steve Phillips was Rovers' hero, saving Dougie Freedman's spot-kick, while Shefki Kuqi hit the crossbar.
Freedman had fired Palace ahead with a superb free-kick from the edge of the box on the half hour. But Craig Disley waltzed through the Palace defence to equalise on 63 minutes before the drama of penalties

Hopefully they will be knackered come Sat and knowing PT ability to get pplayers fit shouldn't be a problem.
