If there's no Davies against Orient, Pearson will go with Berner. but should perhaps go with Gradel on the right wing instead. Ashley Chambers could be considered, but it's not his favourite position and that would be a snub to Adams and Gradel.
We don't need to set the world alight to beat Orient, but there are problems for Pearson going forward as he knows we are stronger with Davies or a player of similar calibre alongsider King.

Also, Dyer needs to fire again to distract the sptlight from the right wing.

Isn't this more to do with the lack of reserve games? Players coming in to the first team need three or four games to get up to speed having perhaps not played for a month, or more.

I think you can go upto 3 months, so we'd be able to get one more month (at least thats how it is on Football Manager )

Glad to see him here, but we do need somebody else if he's going to be going back then.
