At least I'll have someone to sit with and not have to invite myself to sit with fellow posters..

I was offered. And it if it was left to people like you and not A-Z our club would be financially worse off for it. Well done A-Z. We were both on our own, we can now enjoy watching the footy together.

If you come down H, you can just upgrade my little uns ticket for the day and sit with us. Assuming we meet your standards of course

He's crap, as far as I care, It's a waste pf 50k. Never good enough for us in any game he played other than the Tottenham game. I dont wish him any luck, I dont wish him the best, & I hope we never have someone like him again.

We were far too harsh for him, his face obviously did'nt fit with Leicester fans, yes he couldnt head, yes he couldn't shoot but he still scored 9 goals by January. Fellow striker Hume done that by April. Give the bloke another chance, if it doesnt work then time to move on.

Agreed. I didn't see that much of him, but it always struck me that he was being used in a role that didn't suit - "he's big, so stick him up front on his own & lob high balls at him". Maybe RK will find a way of getting the best out of him as he did with paddy K, perhaps as a 2nd half sub to throw his weight around a bit

Thank you Melton that is very decent of you however the games I am looking at both away from home at Sunderland and Preston.

That's an interesting reaction. One of leading top-goalscorers ****s off - so you tell the other one to "**** off"!

I would have thought that a better option would be to wait to see what his decision is - and if his decision is to stay, then give him the kind of support that he deserves as a City player.

FFS!

I have no issue with FULLY supporting a player who pulls on the city shirt, but let be honest, De Vries hasn´t really been brilliant has he?? Apart from trying to lower the wage bill, he was loaned out becuase RK didn´t see him starting a game, unless there was a injury/suspension to Hume or Fryatt.

IMO De Vries has ben poor, and its MY opinion to wish that he´d **** off. He doesn´t want to play here, and he´s said that he will be looking for another club or loan move. So why support him, when a) we don´t really want him and b) he wants to **** off anyway.

Maybe he doesn't want to play for us is because of the attitude some fans, who'll slag him off whatever he does.

He was (equal) our top scorer this season, despite only playing until January.

His goals/games ratio this season was better than Hume and Fryatt, despite playing in a team that was doing badly for much of that time.

So if he'd been part of a team that had been playing well, how many goals would he have got then? Don't you think it's worth finding out?

I'm not saying he should go straight into the starting line up, but he'd be a useful player to have in the squad. Assuming he doesn't get booed as soon as he steps on the pitch.

A player who had a more than adequate career at the highest level!

Jordan will also get a chance to prove the boo boys wrong next season as well...

Of course he fukkin isn't. De Vries isn't shite because he's black, he's shite because he's shite. Most people would welcome the whole Brazil squad here, Thierry Henry etc

Absolute horse shite

What has Mark Bright got to say about our dislike of Alan Rodgers, Dennis Wise etc, Peter Taylor. It's about time some people on this planet got real

You are boorish.

boorish
adj : ill-mannered and coarse and contemptible in behavior or appearance; "was boorish and insensitive"; "the loutish manners of a bully"; "her stupid oafish husband"; "aristocratic contempt for the swinish multitude" [syn: loutish, neanderthal, neandertal, oafish, swinish]

I think you've just reached an all time low Steven

Bit harsh Tom, I'm not his biggest fan, but I would always wish him well and good luck, especially if he is wearing a City shirt.
The above quote was my last contribution to this thread on the subject of Mark de Vries before you started throwing your unsubstanciated racist accusations around again.

How on Earth can you justify accusing me of such nonsense?
