Jesus wept, we've all given up haven't we!

I'm glad I don't have to work with some of the posters on this board as I'd heading for the pills or razor blade before dinner every Monday.

Why don't we post off the champagne to Brighton, Hull, Sheff Weds and Plymouth now. I didn't realise the season had already finished. We have 18 games left. Things change. We will start winning matches (yes, this season).

We will survive.

Indeed Mattmeister indeed, relegated in January apparently with 54 points to play for.It seems if the solution isn't axe CL then there is no solution....

All of the above may well be true. But by the same token, the opposite may also be true. None of us know. :icon_conf  ;)

indeed there are other possible solutions, but opinions differ on whether they are likely to happen with the current manager.

As i see it, CL is persisting with his current ideas, convinced that eventually it will work.

I however don't think our current plight is due to being 'unlucky'. i think it is bad management.

If CL finds the sollution, then i will be thrilled, but i can't see it happening.

Yes Steven and if fans of Brighton,Hull, and Plymouth are reading this they and their team must be shitting themselves at the thought of coming to The Walkers....not only does it appear the players have given up but now some of the fans have as well. We'll never be mastered....of course we won't.

I have already accepted the fact that we will be playing in Div 1 next season. :icon_lol: ;)

Based on what evidence Matt, let me give you my evidence as to why Iremain unconvinced that Mr Levein will get us out of this mess.

1) 5 league wins so far this season.

2) 2 points from a possible 24 in our last 8 league outings.

3) 9 league wins in the whole of the calender year 2005.

4) Only managing back to back league victories once under Levein.

5) 2 away league victories since December 2004.

6) In an important relegation 6 pointer, at Sheff Wednesday, we lay and down and die.

7) Our managers appalling record since his takeover.

8) Our manager's own admittance that after over half the season he still does not know his best starting XI.

Now IMO that is pretty damning evidence, that we are in deep trouble, anybody unfortunate to witness saturday's debacle will no doubt admit that unless drastic action is taken to turn this around immediately then there is a real probability we will be relegated. And dont even start to have a go at the fans for accepting relegation, because that is what the players and manager appeared to do on saturday, if you want to have a go at people for giving up then aim your criticism in the right direction : [email protected]

Now please show me the evidence that we will survive.

Don't think any of us have given up just yet but if you work on fact that weather forecasts are less accurate than saying "the weather tomorrow will be the same as today", then we will go down.

If CL doesn't go then he has to get this lot playing. I'm hoping that we win the next 2 games to get this season started but you have to say it's very unlikely.

But 2 whole days of 'sack CL','CL must go','send the Jock back','get rid of him' does get a bit tiresome...must put the fear of god into those around us.Maybe it could be time to put our differences behind us and show them out there that we are supporting Leicester City FC,not Craig Levein, not the Players but Our Club.

All very true PFKA but it is also Fact that there are 18 games to play,we are not down yet and maybe now is the time to put our differences aside, not to support or condemn Levein but to stand as one and get behind our club because whether you want CL gone or you want him to remain none of us want us relegated.

I agree H, and I was sat at Hillsborough shouting my wotsits off for the team, I havent given up on them I will still attend games hoping we can win and stay up but based on cold hard facts and the evidence of Leveins reign so far, as a realist, I cannot see us getting out of this mess as long as Levein is in charge, and no I didnt join in the "Levein Out" chants.

But anybody who is adamant that we will survive isnt baseing it on facts, form or any other scientific approach, it is out of blind loyalty, hope or the Forest mentality of "it will never happen to us".

I agree that nobody wants to see us get relegated, but everybody needs to acknowledge the level of brown smelly stuff we are currently sat in, and realise that games are running out, you say there is 18 games to go, 8 games ago there were 26 games to play, in that time we have taken a paltry 2 points, dropped into the bottom 3 and now look probables for the drop.

Not Probables,Possibles I grant you.Nobody is stupid enough to realise we aren't in the shit but We still have 18 games to play, more than enough to pull clear and yes I know the last 8 have yielded 2 points,we've played shit, gutless etc etc but I don't believe its as black as its being painted.WE are 11/4 to be relegated and 2/9 to stay up,thats not the odds of Probables.

We're even shiter on the road so here's the home games we have left...
Cardiff...0 points
sheep....3

Very admirable, and I myself love to be as vocal in my support as I can, but it is getting harder. None of those players really give a shite about the fans IMO. We know how well they can play, but we see it so few times either because they can't be motivated for 'smaller' games, or they just can't be bothered.
