Just seems very odd that a 'fixture against European opposition' was announced - and then it was announced that the Celtic game would be the big one and we would be playing at Oxford instead of the 'European game. And now this suggestion!

Don`t worry about casting any nasturtiums on my abilities cuz I aint got any ! although if the jury is still out I`d like to know their verdict as soon as poss cuz if I`m going down I`ll need to make plans for my season ticket ! Oh and by the way don`t plan anything for July 25th, just to get back to thr thread ;-)

We have also been asked for our views over the last 24 hours on this potential fixture and given feedback that we should go ahead as we believe it will attract a good crowd.

Previously we had advised against holding a 2nd pre-season home friendly against non-UK opposition with 6 other potential oppenents mentioned, however we feel this will attract the crowds.
