Very interesting to see the concerted attack on the super league concept in the media. Obviously Sky and BT are doing very well out of the current situation and are uneasy about this kind of change, so they're going all out. Still, it's great to see. Neville and Ferdinand with some brilliant emotional tirades against the greedy bastards.

Can't see it happening or being a long lasting thing if it does go ahead.

It seems a bit flawed imo in that these teams going for it have the biggest fan bases as they are traditionally the more successful teams.

Only one team will be able to win the Euro SL and the plastics of the other teams will soon lose interest in them when they don't finish in the top 3 or 4.

Im sure Arsenal fans would rather be challenging for a top half PL finish that fighting not to finish bottom of the Euro SL.

It should be made to be a long lasting thing. If they join, they should be kicked out of the prem and forced to rejoin the bottom of the pyramid if they come back.

What I suspect will actually happen is they threatened with expulsion and strike a deal where they stay and get more money from the prem or UCL for themselves.

I hope the footballing world rises up against this and gets rid of the lot of them.

Still think it's flawed - that first round will be epically tedious when teams lose their first 3 games and are effectively out of the chance of wining it but still have another 15 or so games to play.

Obviously not as flawed as the 10th best English side believing they are European elite or one that hasn't one the domestic league in 60 years.

At the moment we're all in outrage mode (quite rightly), but very shortly we'll be realising the impact this is going to have on us as fans and as a club.

The CL money is supposed to be our route to becoming a bigger club, expanding the stadium and investing in the squad. If this goes ahead as planned, not only is the CL damaged but by the sounds of it, so is the PL.

This is going to hurt us quite badly in my opinion.

If this happens, football is over.

But thankfully, it won’t happen.
