Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

O'Gravy has equalised for Barnsley against Bolton.

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

Stuart Taylor conceded his first goal in over 3 years today I believe they said. Would assume it was also his first game?

First PL game in 5 years for him. Must be one of the most money-grabbing players around. He was a decent keeper, yet has spent practically his entire career as a reserve for different clubs.

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

It was. Goal of the season candidate.

On an unrelated note, Doug Loft scored a great goal for Port Vale yesterdsay, prompting the reporter on the FLS to shout 'THWACK! Liquid football!'

Great stuff.

I thought they might bave gone for Richard III as they are so keen to get him there. But he's not keen, "over my dead body" I gather was his reponse. Anyway he's a City fan according to his FB page.

Tom Kennedy not enjoying his afternoon at left back for Barnsley ... marking Tevez

Nigel got that one right then:icon_wink
Carlos Tevez hit a superb hat-trick as Manchester City outclassed Barnsley to march into the FA Cup semi-finals.

Tevez scored three goals and made two more in a one-sided contest where the gulf in class between the Premier League champions and the team at the bottom of the Championship was always apparent
